Dr. Gibson- Young and I are here to provide conversation and tools for nursing students in doctoral programs globally. Regardless of your area of practice you will be leading the way for nursing of the future.
I remember the first day in my Doctoral Program. It was all gloom and doom from presenters about the number of hours of study, not much time for family, statistics, etc. I told myself no this is an adventure and my classmates and I kept reminding ourselves of this as we struggled with the really early version of SPSS.
In nursing we have what seems to be a genetic predisposition to want to focus on how hard we struggled in our nursing programs and want others to share the pain. I am thrilled that you have so many tools and opportunities available that allow you to make a difference. With the participating students, our Board of Advisors and invited Bloggers you’ll be exposed to many nursing and healthcare leaders. We look forward to sharing your Journey.
